Pre-Construction Services

American West Homes has an extremely successful track record of working closely with our clients in order to bring about cost effective solutions without compromising the intent or integrity of the design. AWH accomplishes this by offering “Preconstruction Services” to all of our future/potential clients. Our goal during this critical phase of the construction process is to fully comprehend the design intent of the project collectively with the owner, architect, design team & all of the associated structural, mechanical & electrical engineers.

This allows us to provide critical contractor input in real time as it relates to the overall scope of any project. Some of the advantages of utilizing American West during the preconstruction phase include:

• Identifying specific Planning and Zoning restrictions related to easements, egress/access points and land uses types
• Develop accurate preliminary budgets and cost estimation
• Utility Considerations such as water/sewer connections and power/gas improvements
• Researching HOA and/or City requirements
• Provide insight, direction and guidance as it relates to the owners “Master Plan”
• Provide historical cost analysis related to finishes and specifications
• Prepare Mechanical Cost Benefits related to mechanical systems such as Geo-Thermal, Solar, Lighting Control, HVAC/air exchange, domestic water delivery, snowmelt etc.
• Identify possible obstacles to insure an expedited construction schedule
